Job description

On behalf of our client/partner, we are now looking for an experienced Backend Developer with a focus on system development and integration. The project to develop a digital key system is managed by the IT department, led by an appointed project manager and system architect. The task involves ongoing system development activities, including backend, frontend, and integration work. In addition to development tasks, consultants are expected to actively contribute their own ideas and insights to the solution. Development activities are planned and tracked collaboratively with the supplier and consultants using the development collaboration tool (Azure DevOps).

Responsibilities

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable backend solutions using .NET technologies. You’ll work with ORM tools like Entity Framework to manage database operations efficiently, ensuring seamless data interaction. A key part of your role will involve developing and integrating REST APIs and Webhooks to facilitate smooth communication between systems.

Collaboration is essential in this position, as you will work closely with frontend developers, project managers, and system architects to ensure a unified and efficient development process. You will also be expected to contribute innovative ideas to the overall system design, taking part in discussions around architecture and future enhancements. Additionally, you will maintain high standards of code quality by implementing automated tests and adhering to best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements and qualifications

Skills and Experiences:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience developing web applications using .NET.
  • Experience working with ORM tools, such as Entity Framework.
  • Experience in developing integrations via REST and/or Webhooks.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience working with Azure DevOps platform.

Scope: The assignment is estimated to require full-time (100%) commitment throughout the duration of the project.
