Job description

Our partner is looking for a Senior Agile Tester to lead, develop, and drive the test strategy with a focus on agile principles. You’ll perform manual and exploratory testing, create and maintain automated tests, and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle. The role includes investigating issues (e.g., logs, integrations, browser DevTools), improving monitoring for existing services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on bug reports, UX enhancements, and integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the overall test strategy, including manual, exploratory, and integration testing.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks.
  • Investigate issues using tools like logs, integrations, and browser DevTools.
  • Enhance monitoring processes for existing services.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless bug fixes, UX improvements, and integrations.

Who you are?

  • The right candidate has a university degree in software engineering, computer science or similar and more than seven years of working experience as Agile Tester or similar. 
  • You have good knowledge in agile principles and have worked with digital services. 
  • You are used to work with test automation frameworks like Cypress (JavaScript). 
  • In addition to this you easily establish good relationships with others. You have excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • You also have excellent analytical skills, are great at problem-solving and passionate about technology! 
  • You ensure that you understand how your work is adding value to their customers and are not limited to only take on test related tasks but also willing to support the team where needed.

Security Clearance & NDA: Before the start of the assignment, the consultant must review and sign the non-disclosure agreement (confidentiality agreement, etc. for consultants).

Location: Gothenburg (SE).

Scope: The assignment is expected to require a full-time (100%) commitment for the duration of the project. After 12 months, there is an opportunity for the customer to hire the candidate directly.
